AR Classroom

Instruments of the Orchestra –
Meet the Brass Family

Traditional teaching methods meet progressive and interactive technology.

AR (Augmented Reality) Classroom brings a content-rich, purpose-driven learning experience for both teachers and students.

Instruments of the Orchestra: Meet the Brass Family, introduces students to the brass family of instruments, how they produce sound, and what materials they are made of.

In this lesson, students will learn to describe an instrument’s sound range and its individual specifications. Engaging listening tasks and activities associated with timbre are included in this lesson for students to build a deeper understanding of this essential element of music.

Each student completes the lesson by choosing an animal, and the instrument they feel best represents it, to compose a unique soundscape.

Included in this lesson plan are four MusicEDU exclusive AR experiences to solidify student learning, easy-to-follow step-by-step video tutorials, and samples of the MusicEDU Suite: Instruments of the Orchestra eBook.
